Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
He's forever in and out of their team, injured.

If they don't want him, it's for a reason. He was the next best thing a few years ago.

Antonio a terminal right back?

Even if we buy The Ox I doubt that Antonio will die at right back

Great player and bags of potential - I'm in.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
The reports are saying that Arsenal are offering him to us so I don't think the money would be an issue if they want to get rid. It's not as if we are beating their door down.

I want Antonio to be our main man forward right and I'm assuming this is OC best position? I don't want Antonio a terminal RB to accommodate him.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
I'd take Chamberlain. Think he'd excel for us in an attacking 3 with the likes of Payet and Lanzini.

No thanks to Walcott.

Well if the steward thinks he's great we should buy him

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
One of my best mates is head steward in away end at Arsenal and been going for many years.

We've also been linked with Walcott.

My mate's opinion who's seen them play every home match for many years is that Walcott has never improved over many years and shows no sign of ever improving (running in a straight line and then looking for a free kick) and he'd be very happy for Walcott to join us.

Whereas he really likes Ox and, presuming he can be injury free, does not want him to leave to anyone.

If he's injury prone at the north London bores . What would he be like at us ? . The days of the arse selling us their rejects are over please god 🙏 .

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
You can't look at a player who's 22 and say that's the finished article. I don't even think your body stops growing till your 21 or so. I think he's still raw talent that can develop further. I remember Gerard being out for ages when he was young due to back problems etc.. Went on to be a great player.

I'd only take ox if we were going to play him all the time. He needs extended game to get better. If we won give that then it's a waste of time.

If we decided to really use him I think he'd scare the shit out of defenders for us. I'd say he's faster and more aggressive than Moses. Very direct, would be a great player for us on the right.

Can also be creative in the middle as well being an arsenal type player.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
I think most people saying no would be banging on about how good he is after a few appearances for us.

This site makes me laugh - Adrian better than Hart. Cresswell should be in the England squad and is worth about 30m. Joey O'Brien is a good squad player and deserves a new contract - yet a 22 year old with about 25 England caps and CL experience isn't good enough for us?

FUCK OFF?

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Not good enough for the 2016 and beyond hammers. Probably end up at stoke like his dad .

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Definitely not what we need - the bare minimum is a player who is fit 90% of the time.
One of those players who in a year or two will cause everyone to wonder what he ever did to win those caps.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Injury prone, so a definite no thanks

Nice lad and a good player, sometimes, but no, too high a percentage of the transfer budget and no doubt there are better options out there

If you believe Southon's latest blog, we have NO interest in Chamberlain. Good.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
An over priced Arsenal reject who's easily injured and who isn't as good as some of the players we have that he'd be competing for a place with. And dopes on here want him.
Mikail Antonio is head and shoulders a better player.

For me the only thing he has going for him is that he's English. But unfortunately that ain't enough.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Probably on a par with Moses, although the double-barreled name probably just pips the biblical name. Of course if he was white he'd be playing for Ipswich.

He's a good player , better than Moses. I'd take him

Texas Iron 6:36 Sat Apr 23
Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Irrespective of his injury record...I never rated him...and he stole his England caps...'

Over rated...over hyped at a young age...and has done little at Arsenal to show he is worth what Arsenal are asking...15million...50k a week...

Will go to a mid table team...not good enough for us...we can and will do better...
